We were contacted by Lutheran Social Service to see what could be done to overcome the excessive heat and glare at their Saint Paul office. To spend time working in the west-facing offices or conference room was quite a challenge because of the intense afternoon sun in the summertime, and throughout the year because the sun created such heat and glare issues and caused quite a bit of eye strain and very uncomfortable temperatures.
A variety of window film options were discussed and the Sunscape SL8 film was selected. This premium window film from Madico was a great solution as it provides a staggering 92% glare reduction and 83% of total solar heat rejection!
With the correct window film now installed, employees and guests are treated to a comfortable and balanced temperature throughout the office area.
